With a focus towards individual and ensemble skills development, our Autumn term will focus on developing acting skills for stage and screen, by working closely with monologues and duologues. Company members will work alongside professional practitioners to learn how to deliver a monologue to camera, work with a partner on a duologue, and play with text to enable dynamic and truthful performances.

The term will culminate with a sharing, open to friends and family.

Term 1: Sunday 25 September 2022 – Sunday 4 December 2022 (Half Term – Sunday 30 October 2022)

The second term continues driving forward the application of skills as members will develop, rehearse, and perform a contemporary play. Led by our practitioner team, YAC members will undertake a full rehearsal process, inclusive of character development, ensemble movement and relationship building. Mirroring the rehearsal process of professional companies, members will take skills learnt here into their future careers, be that in further training or into the industry itself.

The term will culminate with a sharing, open to friends and family.

Term 2: Sunday 15 January 2023 – Sunday 26 March 2023 (Half Term – Sunday 19 February 2023)

For the summer term, members will work their creative muscles to create two devised projects – one solo and one ensemble based. Working on both stage and screen, our young actors will develop their theatre maker mindset, collaborate with others and discover various roles and tasks within a functioning theatre company.

The term will culminate with an in-house sharing, open to friends and family.

Term 3: Sunday 30 April 2023 – Sunday 9 July 2023 (Half Term – Sunday 4June 2023)
