We were thrilled to see the launch of our new youth actor training initiative, Fourth Monkey’s Young Actors Company, featured in Friday’s (10 June) round-up of the most exciting and interesting news from The Stage
We were delighted to see The Stage supporting and celebrating our new programme for aspiring young performers and theatre makers in London and Bristol, which aims to redefine youth theatre by providing an artist-led acting and creative theatre making programme founded on our core training pillars of ACT. MAKE. MOVE. COLLABORATE.
Designed to prepare young people aged 14+ towards professional progression through the arts in a way that is fun, playful and life-enriching as well as industry-relevant, Young Actors Company
sessions kick off this Autumn at our dedicated Centres of Excellence, The Monkey House in Islington, North London, and The Bamboo House in Bristol’s Portland Square, and include industry-led Casting Director masterclasses, Self-Tape and Audition Technique classes to help anyone thinking about auditioning for drama school prepare for those all-important next steps!
Plus, as part of our ongoing commitment to improve access to the arts and create inclusive pathways into professional accredited actor training for young people in the local communities around our training centres, we will be offering free and subsidised places as well as discounts for siblings.
