Executive Director of Development
Jonathan has over 20 years experience working in Arts Education at LAMDA in Academic Services, as Head of Projects & Events for the British Ballet Organisation. Within the Fourth Monkey team, Jonathan is responsible for academic development, and is strategic lead on student recruitment and Outreach. Beyond Fourth Monkey, Jonathan is also a Feldenkrais Practitioner.
Tamara is a graduate of University College Cork with a BA (Hons) in Drama & Theatre Studies with Philosophy. She is also an alumni of Fourth Monkey’s Two Year Rep training course (now the BA (Hons) Acting Accelerated Degree). Tamara graduated from Fourth Monkey in 2017 and has since worked in creative and administrative roles for a variety of theatres, theatre festivals and theatre companies, including Jacksons Lane Arts Centre, Corcadorca Theatre Company, Brighton Fringe Festival, and London International Mime Festival. Since graduating, Tamara has worked with Fourth Monkey in both an administrative and a creative capacity; having directed three different year groups for public performances, she currently works as part of the Admissions & Outreach teams.
Marketing & Communications Manager
Hetty has been part of the team at the Monkey House since December 2019, and is responsible for leading on Fourth Monkey’s Marketing stratgey, messaging and output.
Hetty has almost ten years’ experience within the Marketing and Communications sector, and is passionate about using her knowledge and experience to creatively package and share Fourth Monkey’s professional training and wider Outreach opportunities so that they continue to reach an ever-expanding and increasingly diverse audience of prospective students. Outside the Monkey House, Hetty is a keen runner and live music lover.
Alumni & Outreach Coordinator
Anna is an alumni of Fourth Monkey’s Two Year Rep training course (now the BA (Hons) Acting Accelerated Degree), and she also holds a degree in English Literature. Since graduating from Fourth Monkey in November 2020, she has worked on a variety of theatre projects as an actor, writer and director. Alongside her performance work, Anna is a youth theatre facilitator and private Acting tutor. Since graduating, Anna has worked with Fourth Monkey as an assistant director, a workshop facilitator, an auditions host and she now coordinates the schools’ Outreach programme, including researching and developing a Student Hardship fund to help support the training community.
Head of Production
Simon has worked professionally in theatre for over 20 years, and has experience in production management, marketing, financial and administrative management, front of house operations and venue management. He was Managing Director of the Tabard Theatre from 2008 until 2019, working as Lead Producer for over 50 shows and General Manager for the artistic programme. Prior to that, he was Marketing Manager at the Hackney Empire and Warehouse Theatres. Simon is currently Head of Production for Fourth Monkey, and is responsible for the managing production budgets, as well as managing and recruiting creatives and crew for public performance work. When productions are not running at Fourth Monkey, Simon works as a freelance producer, both with his own company and other established producers.
Head of Operations
Originating from the Netherlands, Jonne has been an integral part of Fourth Monkey’s business and operations function since 2015. Everyone’s first point of contact for building, technical and operations-related queries, Jonne is responsible for the operational management of the Monkey House, Fourth Monkey’s London training centre. He is also Facilities Manager and Health & Safety Officer, ensuring all policies, insurance and public licences are current and compliant. When Jonne is not busy doing all of this, he helps manage Fourth Monkey’s website content and any artwork design such as posters for public performance work.
